Precautions for the Installation and Maintenance of Safety Valves:

(1) Newly installed safety valves must be accompanied by a product certificate. Before installatiomust undergo re-calibration, be lead-sealed, and a safety valve calibration certificate must be issued.

(2) Safety valves should be installed vertically and positioned at the gas-phase rface of the vessel or pipeline.

(3) The outlet of the safety valve must be free of resistance to avoid backpressure. If a discharge pipe is installed, its inner diamst be larger than the outlet diameter of the safety valve. The safety valve discharge outlet should be protected against freezing. For vessels containing flammable or toxic, highly toxic media, the discharpe must lead directly to a safe outdoor location or to facilities for proper treatment; no valves are allowed to be installed on the discharge pipe of self-acting con
